As a seasoned oncoplastic breast surgeon with a passion for both the medical and aesthetic aspects of breast surgery, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care that goes beyond just physical healing. With years of experience under my belt, I have honed my skills to not only address the medical needs of my patients but also to prioritize their emotional well-being throughout their journey.
My approach is rooted in empathy and professionalism, understanding that each patient’s experience is unique and requires tailored attention. I strive to create a supportive environment where open communication is encouraged, ensuring that my patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their decision-making process.
In addition to my clinical work, I am committed to raising awareness about breast cancer and addressing disparities in treatment, particularly among ethnic minorities. Through education and advocacy efforts, both within the medical community and in the public sphere, I aim to promote equitable access to care and empower individuals to take charge of their health.
With a reputation for excellence and a track record of positive feedback from my patients, I continue to push boundaries in the field of oncoplastic breast surgery while upholding the highest standards of compassionate care. It is my privilege to serve as both a healer and an educator, guiding my patients through their journey with expertise, empathy, and unwavering support.
Having completed my medical training in the UK with an Oncoplastic Fellowship, I am passionate about supporting my patients with both my surgical care and the holistic aspects of aftercare. I maintain excellence in my practice and am faculty and tutor on national breast reconstructive and cosmetic surgery courses and speak regularly at international breast cancer conferences.
Despite a busy and enjoyable work life, where I am also interim Deputy Chief Medical Officer at my local NHS hospital Trust, I love my vibrant family life with my daughters, husband and two cats. I love music and have been learning to play the electric guitar and am passionate about chairing our local breast cancer charity, Aurora Breast Cancer Wellbeing, which I co-founded in 2015.
